Dogging in Wales: Discovering Its Hidden Gems

Wales, a land of rugged beauty and breathtaking landscapes, has long been cherished for its untouched wilderness, sweeping coastlines, and vibrant culture. From the craggy peaks of Snowdonia to the soft sands of its southern shores, this Celtic nation boasts some of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the UK.

While many visitors gravitate toward famous landmarks like Snowdon or Pembrokeshire’s coastline, there are countless hidden treasures that remain to be discovered by people seeking an al fresco adventure of the adult kind!  In this article, we will explore five popular, but still somewhat unknown dogging locations that offer excitement, adventure, and at some sites, natural beauty.

1. Fforest Fawr

Fforest Fawr (translated as “Great Forest”) is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, a region synonymous with natural grandeur and sweeping vistas.  As one of the park’s hidden gems, Fforest Fawr is less frequented by tourists, making it an ideal escape for those seeking solitude in the wild, a dogging meetup, or both!

The forest stretches over thousands of hectares, characterized by dense woodland, rolling hills, open spaces, archaeological sites and even a castle!

The ancient woodland of Fforest Fawr is steeped in history. Once part of a royal hunting reserve, the forest today offers a lush playground for walkers, naturists, and doggers.

The terrain varies significantly, from deep valleys to high ridges, each offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside to indulge your carnal desires.

The area’s geological features, such as waterfalls and caves, are impressive remnants of the area’s volcanic past. The enchanting Pwll y Wrach (Witches Pool) is one such highlight—a hidden waterfall where the water cascades into a deep, tranquil pool surrounded by moss-covered rocks.  This area is especially popular for bukkake sessions, with a nod to its geological history, many doggers finding this the perfect spot to ‘erupt’ over any willing participants.

Several walking routes crisscross the forest, offering lots of opportunities for intimate liaisons and full-on gangbangs alike with something suitable for all fitness levels. The Fforest Fawr Geopark is just one of a handful of dogging sites worldwide which is also a designated UNESCO Geopark which makes this this site even more special and means visitors should practise proper dogging etiquette

Due to the vast size of Fforest Fawr there isn’t a single dogging site, but action can be found throughout the entire forest, however a popular meeting point is the Fforest Fawr car park where doggers usually meet up and then venture further into the forest to find more action.

Walking boots, all weather clothing, torches and/or headlamps, water & snacks, and a fully charged mobile phone are highly advised if you are planning on going dogging at this location.

2. Jersey Marine Tower Car Park

Located close to the river Neath and estuary, the Jersey Marine Tower car park has been a popular dogging site with both locals and visitors to the area for many years.

With easy access from the M4, A483, and B4290 it offers more than just ample parking and a gateway to a unique stretch of coastal beauty that combines historical intrigue with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Due to it being a popular tourist destination during the day, there is little to no dogging activity in the car park during daylight, but if you are prepared to venture out to the Crymlyn Burrows area off Elba Cres you will find doggers looking for action most hours of the day.

The Jersey Marine Tower itself is a relic of the industrial age, offering visitors a glimpse into Wales’ rich industrial past.  While the tower is not accessible, it adds a sense of mystery to the area, standing tall against the backdrop of the sea and acting as a phallic beacon for horny doggers for miles around.

Once the sun sets and the day-trippers pack up and go home the car park starts to fill up with doggers all seeking to satisfy their various kinks. At this site you can expect to enjoy everything on the dogging menu, whether you’re a voyeur or exhibitionist there are always couple who enjoy being watched, right up to full-on double-digit gangbangs!

Luckily the car park is vast so there is always room to accommodate everyone and plenty of room to manoeuvre.

3. Penllergaer Woods Car Park & Penllergaer Forest

Penllergaer Woods & Penllergaer Forest, just on the other side of the M4 are both very popular dogging sites just outside Swansea, a woodland oasis steeped in history and beauty.

The woods are part of the Penllergaer Estate, once owned by John Dillwyn Llewelyn, a 19th-century pioneer of photography and horticulture. The estate’s grandeur can still be seen in the landscaped gardens, waterfalls, and hidden pathways that meander through the forest that let you connect with both nature and other doggers.

There are some great amenities at the Penllergaer Woods site including a well-maintained car park with at least three disabled parking bays, toilets, visitor centre, and a coffee shop.  You must pay for parking, but it is very reasonable, costing £2.50 (for up to 3 hours) or £4 for all day.  Parking can be paid by card or coin at the on-site parking machines.  The car park is open 9am -5pm daily, but you should be aware that the barriers are locked at 5pm!

Due to this site being very popular with visitors, tourists, and dog walkers and the car park closing at night you will be very unlikely to find any dogging activity in the car park itself, you will need to park up and venture further into the Penllergaer Woods to find some action, or instead drive to Penllergaer Forest which is much more secluded.

It is advised that you park at the Penllergaer Woods car park and either meetup with other doggers there, or set off on one of the many walking routes that snake through the forest and find some action, although the site is vast, the popularity of the site means it shouldn’t be long until you find some dogging action!

4. Llanddulas Beach Car Park

The Victorians can be credited with making holidaying at the seaside and sea bathing fashionable in the mid-18th century for health reasons, and no one can deny this is a still an extremely popular pastime today.

Maybe it’s the fresh sea air, crashing waves, or the almost naked tanned bodies glistening in the sun that makes people horny, it will remain one of life’s greatest mysteries.

And this fact cannot be truer when it comes to doggers, the rules at the beach always seem a little more relaxed which is why some of our best dogging locations are along the coast!

Llanddulas Beach, located on the north coast might be our only costal dogging site, but it is one of the best in Wales! With its delightful sweeping views of the Irish Sea and quiet ambiance, Llanddulas Beach is the perfect place to park up and enjoy some sensational dogging which will have you counting down the days until your next visit!

Unlike some of the more popular Welsh beaches, Llanddulas is often less crowded, offering visitors an escape from noisy day trippers and tourists, leaving it free for doggers to really let loose and enjoy themselves both during the day and at night.

Another benefit of this location is the fact that there are no parking fees and there are also public toilets just a few meters away; what more could you want?

Well, how about another very popular dogging site less than a mile away?

This stretch of coast line is blessed with not one, but TWO highly popular dogging sites less than five minutes’ drive away, just off Beach House Road, it is a bit smaller than the other one, but has fewer potholes and is also free. Good times!

5. Prince’s Wood, Penymynydd, Flintshire

Prince’s Wood is located just outside the village of Penymynydd, it is a very rural & peaceful woodland area that doesn’t see as much dogging activity as the locations listed above, but it is worth mentioning nonetheless.

Activity at this site had died down a bit after complaints from local villagers and after the authorities tried to discourage dogging, but we have had heard that the site is becoming busier again.  Maybe the villagers discovered the benefits of dogging during their daily walks during lockdown or the authorities realised you can’t fight nature?

There is no single meeting point for Prince’s Wood, but a number of lay-bys along the two roads which run either side of the woods, namely Kinnerton Old Road and Old Hope Road.

The best option to find some action is to drive along these two roads and look for cars parked up in the evening as all the joggers, walkers, and dog walkers will have gone home by then, leaving only doggers.   We have placed a marker on the map of one of the lay-bys mentioned most as a meeting point.

Conclusion

Wales is a country rich in natural beauty, where dramatic landscapes and serene woodlands coexist in harmony. While many of its iconic landmarks are celebrated worldwide, there are countless hidden dogging sites like Fforest Fawr, Jersey Marine Tower, Penllergaer Woods, Llanddulas Beach, and Prince’s Wood that offer a more intimate experience with nature.

These beauty spots may not attract the same crowds as Wales’ more famous locations, but they provide something equally valuable — some amazing dogging opportunities and a chance to truly escape into the Welsh countryside.
