With Christmas and New year out of the way, we now have the months of January, February, and March to contend with, often cited as the most depressing moths of the year, despite each day benefiting from a few more minutes of day light each day.

One of the questions we get asked every year at DoggingBook HQ is “Do people still go dogging in the winter?”

The simple answer is yes, people do still go dogging in winter, albeit with a few caveats.

As winter evenings cast their spell across the car parks and rural dogging sites, some doggers might think the opportunity to indulge in their passion is limited, but just because the mercury drops it doesn’t mean the dogging stops!

Granted, there is always less activity during the colder months compared to the warmer ones, but it doesn’t grind to a halt. In fact, due to it getting darker earlier and fewer people out and about some areas actually see an increase in action at their local dogging sites!

As the winter sun dips below the horizon, casting long shadows across the tarmac and gravel, a different world awakens in the hidden corners of car parks after dark. These concrete canyons, typically relegated to mundane daytime errands, morph into unrestricted playgrounds and urban havens under the celestial glow for all who venture there after dark.

For the adventurous souls, car parks in winter become wild dogging arenas surrounded by stunning landscapes.

Picture the snow-capped hilltops, cloaked in mist and moonlight, icy slopes beckoning winter warriors towards their ascent. Or envision the windswept coastline, waves crashing against them like liquid silver under the hypnotic gaze of the moon. The city fades away, replaced by the raw beauty of nature, a breathtaking escape from the urban humdrum.

But before you ditch your pyjamas and grab your car keys, it’s important to remember that winter dogging comes with its own inherent challenges that you should prepare for before you set off.

Remember the cold and darkness which shrouds and benefits these sites can bring their own set of hazards which should not be ignored, so it’s important to be prepared.

Rural roads are often not gritted, vehicle breakdowns are more likely, and it might be harder for breakdown vehicles to reach you. Fewer members of the public around might seem like a blessing, but if you need assistance, it might not come along for a long time, if at all.

You should take the same precautions as on any dogging adventure but be extra prepared.

Stick to well-lit areas or paths that you know well.  If venturing off into unfamiliar areas or woodland in winter, you should make sure you are wearing suitable footwear and take a flashlight/headtorch and a phone with maps App.

Always take a fully charged phone but maybe take a power bank too as a backup?  If you are planning on travelling to higher ground where snow and ice might be present would investing in some snow chains be a good idea too?

Don’t just rely on the light on your phone, firstly it might fail, secondly it could run the battery down when you really need it; take a separate flashlight or headtorch.

Wear, or at least take enough warm clothing, you will work up a sweat when the dogging action starts, but while you are waiting or after the action has finished you will feel the cold.

Make sure you have a full tank of fuel in your vehicle, you will probably keep the engine running to keep warm while you’re waiting for people to turn up, or to power your headlights to get a good view of the action.  The last thing you want is to end up in the middle of nowhere in subzero temperatures with no gas in the tank!

Letting someone know where you’re going, when you’re going, and when you plan to come back is an excellent way to ensure you have a safe trip.  You might not want to divulge all the details of trip, but activities like running or stargazing would seem legitimate enough.

Check car park/National Park/State Park closing times during the winter. Often the gates are locked early, or they close early; you don’t want to get stuck there all night!

Local amenities that you normally enjoy in summer like toilets, food vans/trucks, and stores are likely to be absent in the winter, so anything that you would normally ‘get on the way’ you should bring. Pack some snacks and water, you still need to stay hydrated, even in winter.

And remember that the occasional mischief-maker lurks in the shadows. Don’t leave valuables in your car or keep them out of sight.

The vast majority of dogging trips are exciting and rewarding, but if you are alone in the middle of nowhere with strangers, there is always the possibility that something could go wrong, or you could run into some people with bad intentions.

Always trust your gut if something feels off, make your excuses and leave.

Consider bringing a buddy for moral support, they don’t have to get involved in the action, of course unless they want to!

Winter’s icy grip demands respect. Dress like a polar bear (layers upon layers!), wear boots that wouldn’t make Bambi jealous, and consider a hand warmer or two. You don’t want to turn into a popsicle before finding that epic gangbang!

But here’s the thing: these challenges are the secret sauce that makes the adventure truly unique. Conquering the darkness, outsmarting the cold, and navigating the nighttime dogging hotspots – it’s all part of the thrill. And the rewards? Oh, they’re worth the chill!

So, this winter, ditch the tourist traps and embrace the asphalt archipelago. Pack your curiosity, your sense of adventure, an ample supply of condoms, and maybe a flask of something warm? The car parks await, ready to unveil their hidden wonders and secrets for those brave enough to venture into the night.

Just remember, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey – and the epic encounters, of course! Now go forth, asphalt explorer, and let the shadows guide you!

Remember, preparation is everything! Always be aware of your surroundings, trust your gut, and let someone know where you’re going before you head out. With a little planning and precaution, your car park adventure will be one for the books (or at least a story to dine out on for years).

Happy dogging!

If you’re looking to try dogging with your partner, a stranger, or a group of people outside of the bedroom, one of the first things you will need is a list of dogging locations.

Dogging sites are scattered all over the United Kingdom. But finding dogging sites near you can be difficult as they change over time, get closed down, and new ones start to get popular. You need to know where the best, and most up-to-date places are to meet other people for some outdoor action are located, luckily for you this guide is constantly updated, so you can spend less time searching, and more time dogging!

How To Find A Good Dogging Location
Finding a dogging location can be difficult, but much easier when you use our guide. We’ve done all of the hard work so that you can find a good dogging location without having to go out and search one yourself. Our regularly updated guide will give you a list of known dogging sites by county along with details about each site like how to get there and when it is most active. This way, you can find a good dogging location no matter where you are in the UK.

Tips For Safe And Enjoyable Experience
When it comes to dogging locations, you have a lot of options and it’s usually always an enjoyable experience, but it is always wise to take some precautions. It’s important that you know about them and what to expect before you set out on your journey. Here are some tips on how to make your experience more enjoyable:

  • If you are going alone make sure someone knows where you’re going and when they should expect you back.
  • Consent is important, dogging isn’t a free-for-all. No means no, don’t take it personally, there will be plenty more opportunities.
  • Always make sure to bring enough condoms, lube and wet wipes.
  • Bring water, snacks, fully charged phone, and a flashlight.
  • Bring warm clothing (sometimes you might be out at a dogging site in the cold for a number of hours if there is a lot of action going on)
  • Wear safe and sensible shoes (wooded areas and paths can get very slippery, especially in winter).

Dogging Etiquette
Dogging sites are typically shared locations where people have outdoor sexual encounters, but they’re also a place to find other like-minded people who might want to get together to fulfil other fantasies. So what does dogging etiquette look like?

Let’s start by saying that you should always listen to and respect what other people at the dogging meet say, even if you’ve had a sexual encounter with them before, this doesn’t mean you can just stick you dick through the window next time!

Most experienced doggers know the written and unwritten rules of dogging; it’s about meeting up with other people who are interested in outdoor sexual encounters with strangers, often involving gangbangs, exhibitionism and voyeurism. But this doesn’t mean it’s a total free-for-all.

Consent is just as important at a dogging meet as it is anywhere else, if a person or couple invites you to get involved then great! But equally if they say no, you must respect their wishes.

Having a sexual encounter with a stranger, or group or strangers is an exciting experience, especially when you’re just starting out. But it’s also important to remain safe and respectful when you’re meeting up with like-minded folks at a dogging site to ensure you have fun and keep getting invited back to future meetups.

Some other tips include bringing along enough condoms, remembering that dogging sites are likely to be quite dark (don’t rely solely on the light on your phone), and you should think carefully about giving out your full name or home address unless you feel comfortable doing so.

And keep in mind that while dogging isn’t illegal, public indecency is, so if a member of the public just walking their dog who isn’t a dogger witnesses you having sex in public then you could get in to trouble!

Most members of the public have no problem with doggers, but if dogging activity causes problems with parking or litter then it might cause that particular location to receive unwanted attention, this is why it’s always good to follow good dogging etiquette, in addition to local bylaws when enjoying outdoor sex to ensure dogging sites remain open and active.

Wales, a land of rugged beauty and breathtaking landscapes, has long been cherished for its untouched wilderness, sweeping coastlines, and vibrant culture. From the craggy peaks of Snowdonia to the soft sands of its southern shores, this Celtic nation boasts some of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders in the UK.

While many visitors gravitate toward famous landmarks like Snowdon or Pembrokeshire’s coastline, there are countless hidden treasures that remain to be discovered by people seeking an al fresco adventure of the adult kind!  In this article, we will explore five popular, but still somewhat unknown dogging locations that offer excitement, adventure, and at some sites, natural beauty.

1. Fforest Fawr

Fforest Fawr (translated as “Great Forest”) is located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, a region synonymous with natural grandeur and sweeping vistas.  As one of the park’s hidden gems, Fforest Fawr is less frequented by tourists, making it an ideal escape for those seeking solitude in the wild, a dogging meetup, or both!

The forest stretches over thousands of hectares, characterized by dense woodland, rolling hills, open spaces, archaeological sites and even a castle!

The ancient woodland of Fforest Fawr is steeped in history. Once part of a royal hunting reserve, the forest today offers a lush playground for walkers, naturists, and doggers.

The terrain varies significantly, from deep valleys to high ridges, each offering stunning views of the surrounding countryside to indulge your carnal desires.

The area’s geological features, such as waterfalls and caves, are impressive remnants of the area’s volcanic past. The enchanting Pwll y Wrach (Witches Pool) is one such highlight—a hidden waterfall where the water cascades into a deep, tranquil pool surrounded by moss-covered rocks.  This area is especially popular for bukkake sessions, with a nod to its geological history, many doggers finding this the perfect spot to ‘erupt’ over any willing participants.

Several walking routes crisscross the forest, offering lots of opportunities for intimate liaisons and full-on gangbangs alike with something suitable for all fitness levels. The Fforest Fawr Geopark is just one of a handful of dogging sites worldwide which is also a designated UNESCO Geopark which makes this this site even more special and means visitors should practise proper dogging etiquette

Due to the vast size of Fforest Fawr there isn’t a single dogging site, but action can be found throughout the entire forest, however a popular meeting point is the Fforest Fawr car park where doggers usually meet up and then venture further into the forest to find more action.

Walking boots, all weather clothing, torches and/or headlamps, water & snacks, and a fully charged mobile phone are highly advised if you are planning on going dogging at this location.

2. Jersey Marine Tower Car Park

Located close to the river Neath and estuary, the Jersey Marine Tower car park has been a popular dogging site with both locals and visitors to the area for many years.

With easy access from the M4, A483, and B4290 it offers more than just ample parking and a gateway to a unique stretch of coastal beauty that combines historical intrigue with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Due to it being a popular tourist destination during the day, there is little to no dogging activity in the car park during daylight, but if you are prepared to venture out to the Crymlyn Burrows area off Elba Cres you will find doggers looking for action most hours of the day.

The Jersey Marine Tower itself is a relic of the industrial age, offering visitors a glimpse into Wales’ rich industrial past.  While the tower is not accessible, it adds a sense of mystery to the area, standing tall against the backdrop of the sea and acting as a phallic beacon for horny doggers for miles around.

Once the sun sets and the day-trippers pack up and go home the car park starts to fill up with doggers all seeking to satisfy their various kinks. At this site you can expect to enjoy everything on the dogging menu, whether you’re a voyeur or exhibitionist there are always couple who enjoy being watched, right up to full-on double-digit gangbangs!

Luckily the car park is vast so there is always room to accommodate everyone and plenty of room to manoeuvre.

3. Penllergaer Woods Car Park & Penllergaer Forest

Penllergaer Woods & Penllergaer Forest, just on the other side of the M4 are both very popular dogging sites just outside Swansea, a woodland oasis steeped in history and beauty.

The woods are part of the Penllergaer Estate, once owned by John Dillwyn Llewelyn, a 19th-century pioneer of photography and horticulture. The estate’s grandeur can still be seen in the landscaped gardens, waterfalls, and hidden pathways that meander through the forest that let you connect with both nature and other doggers.

There are some great amenities at the Penllergaer Woods site including a well-maintained car park with at least three disabled parking bays, toilets, visitor centre, and a coffee shop.  You must pay for parking, but it is very reasonable, costing £2.50 (for up to 3 hours) or £4 for all day.  Parking can be paid by card or coin at the on-site parking machines.  The car park is open 9am -5pm daily, but you should be aware that the barriers are locked at 5pm!

Due to this site being very popular with visitors, tourists, and dog walkers and the car park closing at night you will be very unlikely to find any dogging activity in the car park itself, you will need to park up and venture further into the Penllergaer Woods to find some action, or instead drive to Penllergaer Forest which is much more secluded.

It is advised that you park at the Penllergaer Woods car park and either meetup with other doggers there, or set off on one of the many walking routes that snake through the forest and find some action, although the site is vast, the popularity of the site means it shouldn’t be long until you find some dogging action!

4. Llanddulas Beach Car Park

The Victorians can be credited with making holidaying at the seaside and sea bathing fashionable in the mid-18th century for health reasons, and no one can deny this is a still an extremely popular pastime today.

Maybe it’s the fresh sea air, crashing waves, or the almost naked tanned bodies glistening in the sun that makes people horny, it will remain one of life’s greatest mysteries.

And this fact cannot be truer when it comes to doggers, the rules at the beach always seem a little more relaxed which is why some of our best dogging locations are along the coast!

Llanddulas Beach, located on the north coast might be our only costal dogging site, but it is one of the best in Wales! With its delightful sweeping views of the Irish Sea and quiet ambiance, Llanddulas Beach is the perfect place to park up and enjoy some sensational dogging which will have you counting down the days until your next visit!

Unlike some of the more popular Welsh beaches, Llanddulas is often less crowded, offering visitors an escape from noisy day trippers and tourists, leaving it free for doggers to really let loose and enjoy themselves both during the day and at night.

Another benefit of this location is the fact that there are no parking fees and there are also public toilets just a few meters away; what more could you want?

Well, how about another very popular dogging site less than a mile away?

This stretch of coast line is blessed with not one, but TWO highly popular dogging sites less than five minutes’ drive away, just off Beach House Road, it is a bit smaller than the other one, but has fewer potholes and is also free. Good times!

5. Prince’s Wood, Penymynydd, Flintshire

Prince’s Wood is located just outside the village of Penymynydd, it is a very rural & peaceful woodland area that doesn’t see as much dogging activity as the locations listed above, but it is worth mentioning nonetheless.

Activity at this site had died down a bit after complaints from local villagers and after the authorities tried to discourage dogging, but we have had heard that the site is becoming busier again.  Maybe the villagers discovered the benefits of dogging during their daily walks during lockdown or the authorities realised you can’t fight nature?

There is no single meeting point for Prince’s Wood, but a number of lay-bys along the two roads which run either side of the woods, namely Kinnerton Old Road and Old Hope Road.

The best option to find some action is to drive along these two roads and look for cars parked up in the evening as all the joggers, walkers, and dog walkers will have gone home by then, leaving only doggers.   We have placed a marker on the map of one of the lay-bys mentioned most as a meeting point.

Conclusion

Wales is a country rich in natural beauty, where dramatic landscapes and serene woodlands coexist in harmony. While many of its iconic landmarks are celebrated worldwide, there are countless hidden dogging sites like Fforest Fawr, Jersey Marine Tower, Penllergaer Woods, Llanddulas Beach, and Prince’s Wood that offer a more intimate experience with nature.

These beauty spots may not attract the same crowds as Wales’ more famous locations, but they provide something equally valuable — some amazing dogging opportunities and a chance to truly escape into the Welsh countryside.

So next time you find yourself in Wales, venture off the beaten path and get beaten off; it’s all waiting to be discovered…….
